Jacky Teplitzky is not your average real estate broker. She’s not only an industry powerhouse with a stellar reputation, but also a mother, a humanitarian and an active volunteer in her community. Her route to these lofty real estate heights was far from typical. Born in Santiago, Chile, Jacky moved to Israel when she was a young girl with her family. As an adult, Jacky served with distinction as a sergeant in the Israeli army. She honed her natural talent for business during a stint at an international tourism company, where she raced up the corporate ladder to become one of the youngest managing directors at the organization, and the only female one.

All this before the age of 30. As a result of her international background, she is trilingual-fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew, an added bonus for her sophisticated, often international, clientele.

For avid media watchers and readers, Jacky may need no introduction. A recognized industry source for the media, she has been profiled in the New York Times and is widely quoted in publications from the Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times on down. She has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg Radio and WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News.

Jacky is also an increasingly sought-after and engaging speaker. She has presented at such prestigious venues as Smith Barney, HSBC Private Banking, Citibank Private Banking and Yeshiva University.

Somehow, Jacky manages to teach marketing techniques for real estate professionals at New York University, where she is a faculty member. She also makes time for philanthropic activities, one of which is her involvement with the United Jewish Federation of New York. “Their objective of helping those in need resonates deeply with me,” says Jacky. “It helps me to put my life and my career into perspective.”

Her managerial experience and innovative marketing approaches to real estate are part of what sets Jacky apart in the competitive real estate business. Jacky successfully combines her stellar career with being a devoted wife and mother. She spends a great deal of time helping to raise money for her two young sons’ school. And when it comes to being with her boys, Jacky admits to turning off her cell phone. “When I’m with them,” she says. “I’m with them.”
