Teplitzky gets into Pajama's

The Pajama Program, a national charity that provides pajamas and books to needy and abused children, announced that Jacky Teplitzky, an executive vice president with Prudential Douglas Elliman has joined its advisory board.

"I am thrilled that the Pajama Program continues to attract such outstanding New Yorkers," said Genevieve Piturro, executive director of the Pajama Program. "Jacky is one of the top real estate brokers in Manhattan and, in additional to her personal commitment, she brings a keen determination that will help to advance our goals."

"As the mother of two young boys, I've wanted to be a part of the Pajama Program from the moment I learned about it," Teplitzky said. "The Program provides children, many of whom live in a constant state of duress, an atmosphere of love and warmth. I am honored to be able to participate in this worthy cause."

The Pajama Program is a New York City-based not-for-profit organization. It is dedicated to providing new and unused pajamas and books to needy children, from newborns to age 17, many of whom are without families and/or permanent homes.

The Pajama Program identifies institutions where youngsters are living temporarily and, in conjunction with the facility, sends sleepwear and reading material for its residents. Homeless shelters, foster care facilities, group homes and hospitals throughout the country receive Pajama Program donations.
